"President Obama this morning called the containment of the Gulf oil spill "good news" but warned that more information is necessary before officials will know how best to proceed. The cap may completely stop the flow or may be used to capture oil still flowing, decisions Obama said will depend on 'additional data' and analysis by experts. Speaking to reporters in the Rose Garden, Obama said the danger of the real-time images captured by an underwater camera is that people may think the crisis is over when it is not." Christy Parsons reports for the Tribune Washington Bureau in the Los Angeles Times July 16, 2010.
