"The administrator of BP oil spill claims is getting a taste of the widespread dissatisfaction with the system on the Alabama coast.
Kenneth Feinberg attended a community meeting Wednesday that drew about 700 people in Orange Beach.
The session began with most everyone standing up to show they had filed a claim. But they indicated only 20 or so have been paid anything, and no one received the full amount.
Orange Beach Mayor Tony Kennon said Feinberg has people's lives in their hands. He said hurricanes seem like a joke compared to the oil spill."
The Associated Press had the story September 15, 2010.
